We value all our volunteers, their efforts supporting the people we work with and driving our organisation forward. We welcome applications from people who have the time and the appropriate skills, and we will do our best to provide a placement which meets the needs of the project while also suiting the skills and desires of each volunteer.
We do ask volunteers to commit to a minimum of five hours per week (in a single block, within the hours of 9am to 5pm, weekdays only). We are also currently looking for new Trustees to enhance our Board with key skills such as legal, business, change management and marketing.
Ashiana welcomes trainee and qualified counsellors as well as social work student placements within the service. We also work with local colleges and universities to offer a variety of placement opportunities.
If you are interested in a student placement or believe you have a professional skill that you could offer Ashiana, register your interest below.
